Calling all writers of Hard Science Fiction—If you have a story where science is an important part in the story, and concerns the planet Mars, now’s your chance to be a part of MOHS 5.5 v2: MARS!
Send us a pitch of your story–a synopsis of 150 words or less—to Mohs.5.5.02.Sub@GMail.com. Your pitch will be anonymized and forwarded on to the editors, who will get back to you within four calendar days with a go/no-go answer. If your pitch got a no-go, send us another! One pitch per email, please, and wait until you’ve gotten an answer before sending us your next one. Pitch Season ends on June 30th at midnight, EDT (UTC+4)
We are looking for stories where the science plays an important part in the story. The story must involve the planet Mars in some form or fashion. A quick flyby on the way to the War on Saturn is not acceptable—an ambush by the rebel colonists in Martian orbit is better, and an unplanned reentry onto the Red Planet is best.
