Open Call – Science Fiction Anthology – The Expanding Universe 9
IASFA: The Expanding Universe 9 (TEU9) – Open Call. This is the ninth iteration of the TEU short story collections. I do one a year. Target is 20-25 stories. The cover is a Tom Edwards pre-made and that should give you an idea of what we’re looking at for content. Stories that would suit being…

The Allure of Space Opera – Science Fiction’s most Epic genre by Tim Kaiver
In some of my best Space Opera reads of 2022, I’ve noticed a recurring theme of searching for humanity above all, and I love it! I pick up Space Opera for a glimpse at future civilizations, and when I do, I long for the humanity our heroes find that encourages them to push past whatever…

IASFA – 2023 Free & 99 Cent promotions
In 2023, we will have both free and 99-cent books in the same promotion. All free is limiting for many authors where 99 cents opens the door to far greater worlds. For those who aren’t aware, setting a book’s price to free can be challenging because not all book distributors will match that price. But…

Since a huge swath of our members are already attending 20Books Vegas 2022 at Bally’s, from November 14-18, it’s during the show. Although it may seem like we’re not very active on here, we are active and moving the organization forward. We want to have more paid promotions and instead of the five-day Free promotions…

Open Call – Fantasy Stories
It's about time we do a Fantasy collection – either a story bundle (complete novels, 40k words or more) or an anthology (short stories or novelettes). I'm looking at the biggest Fantasy genres – epic, sword & sorcery, high fantasy, but not urban fantasy (not at this time – I'm running something separate for that with a June release).
Open Call – Science Fiction Stories
What do we want to do – an anthology of SF short stories or a story bundle? We can do one or the other. I'm looking at an April timeframe.
Open call for submissions – Grand Theft Unicorn
RIAH Publishing is taking submissions for the anthology Grand Theft Unicorn. Ocean’s 11 with ogres and trolls. The Italian Job pulled off using hippogriffs. Good Fellas done with dark fae. Leverage by way of Gandalf and Merlin.
We’re looking for stories of crime with a fantasy twist. Tales can be serious or funny, but need to involve a crime, a fantasy element, and have an unexpected twist to them.
