Bloodstained Skies: Crimson Tree, Crimson Snow (sci-fi horror short story)

Hefri, a six-years old girl hunts in nearby forests to provide financial support for her overworked mother and disabled father. One day she encounters a crimson trail on the snow. Thinking its a trace of an easy quarry, she follows it. She doesn’t realise quickly enough that she became the prey now.
