Twenty years ago, two weapons were created. Humanity could learn of neither.
A planet killer. Destroy a population. A doomsday weapon to end the war.
Genocide. The thought of it left a bad taste. The Paragon didn’t care if all humans were killed. The Fleet wanted a resolution, too, that may have been just as bad. Did humanity hate the Paragon that much?
Glory is to patrol the frontier, but her captain, Augustus Drake reads into the orders and with Admiral Jack’s help, heads deep into contested space.
They find nothing they expect. They save a spy they can’t trust. They have a mission that will get them all court-martialed, IF they survive.
Humanity doesn’t know that they are counting on Glory to save them. The secrets alone are worth dying for.
Or are they?
