They have discovered us and now they hunt. How long will we survive? Our only defence is our swamp and the rapidly reducing humid air column above us. But there are now over fifty of us in an area that can support seven. Our strategy is to defy the sun again and move underground with the only entrance through the water. That should protect us from the Jjazx, the giant ant creatures that attacked and destroyed our home. We started as seven survivors, and then another small group from the Victoria joined us. When the next habitation pod landed, we had serious issues, but we met allies. Now we’ve recovered survivors from within the Jjazx city; they know we are here and are not happy that we rescued our friends. Everything we do is targeted towards our survival, including supplying the Toscani with our only reliable food source. But the Toscani’s have battles of their own, and when the Jjazx made it past the humidity barrier, they were not here to help us. We have no way to contact them. Survival and safety are rare commodities where we live. Perhaps the Toscani will help us off this planet; perhaps the Jjazx will kill us all first. Whatever the solution, we are hunted.
