Just because everyone in the galactic neighborhood wants our fiction doesn’t mean they’re free to pirate it.

A young Pelk, Boggacio Brendant, has received a boon from the elder gods of his people and assumed the mantle of the Dread Pirate Brendant. He’s become quite successful at stealing the literature of Humanity and selling it to alien races throughout the galaxy.

Guðrún Bjarnidóttir is a Human woman from Iceland who has relocated to an outpost on the edge of Human Space operated by an alien race, and has set up a small reading room and beverage bar there. She takes exception to the intellectual piracy of this Pelk and is determined to stop him.
