Alastair Mayer

I’ve been around science fiction forever. My dad was a fan, organized some early conventions, and published Arthur C. Clarke’s first stories.  I wrote my first SF story in the second or third grade. Thankfully it is lost forever. 😉 I didn’t get serious about writing it for publication until much later, after I’d already had non-fiction and technical articles published in various magazines. I’ve sold short stories to Analog, among others, and went indy with novels a couple of years after that.
