That would make my book listing on the website always free? I guess I’m confused about this.
I’d just like to add to this that my book didn’t make the promo and was removed from the draft because I’m going to guess the Bookfunnel link didn’t go through for some odd reason. All my books on the site have Books2Read links. I use Bookfunnel for the promos so I don’t have to change the prices. I’m 99% sure I put the Bookfunnel link in there (but could be my own fault) when I registered for the promo. Just throwing that out as a possibility for the error on my book. Sorry to have caused trouble there.

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I can’t figure out which promos I’ve signed up for. I’d planned to sign up for a bunch and ran out of time. Now I’m back to finish my list and don’t want to duplicate any sign-ups. Is there a way to show a list of who is signed up for what?
I’m 99% sure I signed up for the April Urban Fantasy, but my book is not on the draft page. So that’s the one I’d like to confirm first thing.

I think I need a topic called “Fixing a Strategy That Doesn’t Work”.
When I started about 10 years ago, They said it’ll take off after three books in a series. Cool beans. I put my head down and wrote. Silly me genre-hopped and therefore didn’t get to that goal for awhile. But by then I had a few things published and was filling more confident. The 3rd in my post apocalyptic series was the charm. I got a Bookbub on book 1 and wowsa I made it…for a hot minute. When I fell off the cliff it was discouraging.
Then They said 5 books…but then it changed again and that magic number just seemed to dance out of my grasp.
I went wide. I did audio books. I got more Bookbubs. I kept writing more books. I have lovely reviews on all my series. Just not much in the way of sales.
I’m a bit of a spreadsheet nerd so I did an anaylsis of promotions and sales and discovered some big holes in my marketing. (Like none done during COVID) So this year I will try to rectify that by being more aware of what should be pushed when.
So I’m floundering after a strategy at this point. I’m more in the spaghetti toss mode seeing what might stick to the wall. Thanks for all your advice and examples! I know I’ve got to keep trying stuff until I get more traction.
I’ve had excellent experiences with D2D. They get right back to you if there’s a problem. They run Kobo and Apple specials. Their print option is working out well.
Smashwords worked for me a long time ago, but I don’t think I’ve had a sale on there in years. And they just merged with D2D, so they will probably disappear soon.
