Not a gamer, but do tend to enjoy spin-off efforts. The Firefly books are ok. The Stargate series enjoyed a lot of spin off books.
Cool that Ubisoft recognizes the value!
I don’t think there’s a “standard.”
Mine run on the shorter side, 55-60k. Other indies, put out 100k. If it’s good, people will like it and buy it.
