Mine run on the shorter side, 55-60k. Other indies, put out 100k. If it’s good, people will like it and buy it.

I alternate between the two but if Scrivener seems too daunting or just not interested, DabbleWriter is awesome.

Like most, I use scrivener. I keep several WIP open as tabs and one is the bible for the universe I’m working on.

other

I too tend to discover things as I go, so as I do I’ll hop into that entry and add the new detail with an annotation of which book that piece of information was revealed.
